Avis Budget Group EMEA has appointed Lynette Dungey, international commercial manager. 

Lynette has an impressive CV that includes ten years at Thomas Cook, with the last four years of her tenure spent as national sales manager – retail and UK Airports. 

Lynette joins the core Avis Budget trade leisure team headed up by Avis Budget Group EMEA’s head of UK travel & international strategic accounts, global travel & partnerships, Connie Georgiou. 

The team is based at the Avis Budget Group EMEA headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire.

In her new role Dungey is responsible for delivering first class account management to the existing Avis Budget portfolio of pan European and global leisure accounts and maximising revenue via the intermediary distribution channels, including travel agents and tour operators.

Additional responsibility will see Dungey supporting the trade marketing and PR activity that promotes the Avis brand within the industry.

Georgiou said: “The appointment of Lynette Dungey reinforces the Avis Budget Group commitment to the trade; her experience will further strengthen our relationship with key operators and I’m confident that Lynette will play a key role in future expansion.”
