After months of sweating, frying, reducing, simmering, baking etc. in the African heat, our heros, the kitchen boys (and girls), are really pleased that our restaurant at The Swahili House is now finally open also to outside guests.  We wanted our food to reflect all the richness that Africa and mainly Zanzibar have to offer with its fertile soil and warm waters of the Indian Ocean right in front of us. The warm African sun gives us the most sweet tomatoes and rich tropical fruits you have ever tasted. We are determined to use all local suppliers, farmers and fishermen.

Our á la carte menu is a combination of Eastern and Western influences, spices and flavors and includes a wide variety of freshly caught fish and seafood, mediterranean tapas and is changed on a daily basis. A continental and full English breakfast buffet will be served from our rooftop kitchen every morning. And last but certainly not least: The Swahili House offers a large variety of wines, international spirits and delicious cocktails to enjoy a romantic sun set with!
