Abacus rolls out new PowerSuite

Abacus International has begun the rollout of its enhanced Abacus PowerSuite, the only full-service solution that offers complete front-, mid- and back-office functions that are changing customer operations.

With the new Abacus PowerSuite, agencies from across the region will have the ability to leverage the increased productivity, mobility, control and flexibility associated with the upgrades.

Designed to easily integrate with key business systems, the enhanced Abacus PowerSuite provides agents an edge in a crowded marketplace.

The new Abacus PowerSuite boasts a range of new features, including the new tour management module.

This makes it easier for agents to boost productivity by creating in-house customised flexible independent travel (FIT) and group tour itineraries and packages for agency operations.

In addition, the integration of the Sales, FIT and Tour Order modules make Sales Order Management more efficient while consolidating the entire agency operations into the same accounting system.

This means further increasing operational productivity and financial management of the agency.

“Abacus PowerSuite has been around for more than 12 years and since then, has become Asia’s first choice when looking for a financial solution for the travel industry,” said Brett Henry, vice president of marketing at Abacus International.

“Abacus is also the only provider currently of full front-to-back solutions.

“We recognise that for travel players, being able to manage the myriad of activities that is happening on a daily basis is key.

“This is why we have worked hard to further improve our features to help them do this effectively and quickly.”

A key addition to Abacus PowerSuite is the brand new web-based mid-office function. With this function, remote access to information will be simplified.

Users can then create online sales orders for bookings, tours as well as document issuance such as invoices and exchange orders while on the go.

The new “To-Do List” will also help users keep track of outstanding tasks to shorten the booking to cash cycle, making it an effective mobility solution for users.
