2024 Season News from 7Pines Resort Sardinia
7Pines Resort Sardinia has carefully crafted a diverse gastronomic offering for guests to enjoy in a relaxed setting at any time of the day across the resort’s three unique restaurants, all headed up by Italian Executive Chef, Pasquale D’Ambrosio.
This season, the resort will be launching a brand-new pizzeria concept at Spazio restaurant in collaboration with the multi award winning Italian pizzaiolo, Franco Pepe, star of Netflix’s Chefs Table.
Overlooking the resort’s spectacular pool, surrounded by fragrant lemon trees and vineyards, Spazio will offer a selection of Franco’s award-winning pizzas, renowned for their unique dough and creative ingredients that celebrate and reinvent the classical Italian recipes. The new menu will include Franco Pepe’s famous Margherita Sbagliata and Scarpetta pizza, as well as brand-new exclusive pizzas created with local Sardinian ingredients, only available at 7Pines Resort Sardinia. Previous award accolades Franco Pepe has won include Pizzaiolo of the Year by Food and Travel and Master of the Arts and Crafts of Pizza by the “Scuola Internazionale di Cucina italiana ALMA” to name a few.
The resort’s Sardinian-inspired fine dining restaurant, Capogiro, is home to panoramic sea views with an elegant ambiance at harmony with its natural surroundings. This season, guests can enjoy three brand-new tasting menus, all which celebrate creative Sardinian cuisine and honour the island’s local culinary traditions. These include Territorio (7 ‘land’ courses); Mareggiata (7 ‘sea’ courses); as well as Dove mi porta il cuora – an 8-course menu combining Chef Pasquale D’Ambrosio’s signature courses. Guests can also opt for an a la carte menu featuring a selection of dishes, including red mullet in a filindeau pasta crust and ravioli Nerano style.
Every week from June to September, Capogiro will host a special ‘Starry Night’ dinner, offering a delectable set menu and live music under the stars. This season, the restaurant will also be relaunching its ‘Four Hands Dinner’ series, welcoming a selection of Michelin-starred chefs to cook an exclusive one-off menu alongside the resort’s Executive Chef Pasquale D’Ambrosio.

UNIQUE SPORTING ACADEMIES
This summer, the resort will be hosting a thoughtfully curated range of new Sports Academies for guests of all ages throughout the year, offering guests the chance to improve skills and techniques with coaching lessons from international sports stars. Confirmed Academy experiences currently include the below:
Football Academy with Italian football legend Gianluca Zambrotta – 18th – 22nd August 2024 (available for 3 – 14 year olds only). Widely considered one of the best Italian football players, Zambrotta was a vital Italian team member in the winning squad at the 2006 World Cup.
Tennis coaching with Swedish former professional player, Magnus Norman – 14th – 19th June 2024. Mangus’ career highlights include reaching a major final at the French Open in 2000, and winning a Masters title at the 2000 Rome Masters
Tennis coaching with former Italian tennis player, Omar Camporese – 16th – 26th July 2024. From 1991-1993, Omar was Italy’s no.1 tennis player. He had a singles ranking of No.18 in the world in 1992.
Hip Hop Academy with Italian actress and dancer, Alice Bellagamba – 21st – 30th July 2024 (available for 3 – 14 year olds only).
Basketball Academy with American former American NBA Sylvester Gray – 2nd – 11th August 2024. A former professional basketball player, Sylvester was selected by the Miami Heat in the 2nd round (35th overall) of the 1998 NBA Draft.
NEW WATERSPORTS OFFERING AT CONE CLUB
A natural oasis nestled between granite rocks and the emerald sea, Cone Club will now offer a range of exhilarating water sports offerings for those wanting to embrace their adventurous side. Accessible from the jetty, guests can choose from jet skiing, flyboarding, wake surfing, wakeboarding, sea-scootering and water skiing. Children can also enjoy a range of thrilling activities, including a sofa & banana boat and water biking along the turquoise coastline.
For something a little more leisurely, guests can also choose to snorkel through the clear azure waters of the Costa Smeralda, a stand-up paddle along the spectacular stretch coastline or a kayaking trip to explore Sardinia’s intriguing hidden sea caves.
For some post watersports wind down, guests can enjoy a selection of light mediterranean-inspired dishes and refreshing drinks at Cone Club, accompanied by DJ sets and a lively, relaxed atmosphere.
