Travel is an education for the soul. Sadly, most people who want to travel don’t because they know the first thing about it. They don’t know where to go or what to do when they are there.

Cities are the heart and soul of travel. They are home to a vast array of cultural experiences. 

Here is a list of some of the best cities people can travel to and activities to go along with them.

New York. New York
New York City is arguably one of the best cities in the United States. The city is composed of so many tourist attractions it’s hard to name them all. One of the most exciting and historical tourist attractions would be the Statue of Liberty. 

The statue was a gift to the United States from France, and it’s said that the icon represents freedom to the immigrants coming into Ellis Island.  Another place to go when in NYC is Times Square. This is the place that is seen in all the movies that take place in New York.

With its flashy lights and big screens and ads, Times Square is a must visit when visiting NYC. New York city is a need to see place to cross off your bucket list.

Paris, France
Paris is the third most visited city in the world. It’s what most people refer to it as, “The city of love,” for its romantic parks and picnics.

Also, Paris has the Eiffel tower, one of the world’s most recognizable landmarks. It’s most known for its incredible view at night from the top.

Ottawa, Canada
Home of Tim Horton’s and hockey, this Canadian city is rich in culture and beauty. Ottawa, being the capital of the great white north, has a significant historical impact on the culture there today.

Some neat actives to partake in your Canadian adventure to Ottawa are, visiting one of seven museums, art classes, and escaped theme interactions. Not to mention there are several beautiful houses for sale in Ottawa. This could not only be an exciting tourist city but a permanent residence.

Jerusalem, Israel
Jerusalem is key to the three most popular religions of today’s modern world, and it’s a great place to enrich your knowledge on them.

This one could be replaced with Beijing, but since it’s a bucket list, Hong Kong is easier access than Beijing, considering you don’t need a visa. Also, Hong Kong is more comfortable to navigate and explore due to its compact size.

Most people who travel to Hong Kong say their favorite activities include, hiking Lantau Island, watching the city light up from Victoria peak, and taking both sides of the city from the Star Ferry, which is only twenty-five cents!

Hong Kong is an exercise that would never be forgotten.
