The 13th annual IHIF which took place in Berlin earlier this month was a tremendous success, with 1600 people in attendance, which is a substantial increase on the number of people attending the previous year. A great sign for the European hotel industry. Over 58 countries were represented at the event making the IHIF a truly international event.

The feeling at this year’s IHIF was one of optimism, and deals were being done at the conference showing the industry is moving in the right direction.

What sets IHIF apart from the rest is the seniority of our delegates. CEOs of the major hotel chains attended IHIF and actively took part in discussions and networking events.

Networking, as always, was high on delegates’ agendas and the two evening receptions hosted by Leonardo Hotels and Intercontinental Berlin were great events and gave these hotel chains the chance to treat delegates. Networking Xpress was a well-attended event with delegates having the opportunity to meet 50 people in 90 minutes! The exhibition hall was buzzing and saw a number of new exhibitors profiling their companies this year.

The International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) is a three day world-class conference aimed at bringing the industry together in a first-class location to deliver the very best educational programme, outstanding networking opportunities and the most senior level professionals from all areas of the industry.
