Daley celebrates Tokyo Olympics milestone with Japan National Tourism Organisation
The Japan National Tourism Organisation has unveiled a new phase of its promotional campaign for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, with the launch of a collaboration with British diver, Tom Daley.
At an event held at Japan House in London, the organisation hosted Daley to screen some of the content he created for a mini-series focusing on the country.
The Olympic diver talked through his recent experience in Japan and showcased previously unseen footage from his trip.
To highlight the one year to go mark, Daley travelled to Japan earlier this month to film a six-part series showcasing some of the culture and events Japan has to offer ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympics Games.
The Olympian flew into to Tokyo, courtesy of Japan Airlines, where he spent a couple of days exploring the quirky culture.
From Tokyo, Daley travelled north around several prefectures including Fukushima, Yamagata, Miyagi, Aomori and Iwate.
