Filmmaker Michael Bay has released a new short showcasing the beauty and diversity of Abu Dhabi’s landscape.

While shooting Netflix’s ‘6 Underground’ in Abu Dhabi, Bay embarked on a helicopter adventure to capture Abu Dhabi’s uniquely stunning landscape and landmarks after being impressed at how the Emirate combines modernity with tradition.

In the video, Bay showcases the architectural masterpiece Louvre Abu Dhabi, the luxurious Emirates Palace hotel, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and the stunning dunes of Liwa desert, one of the most adventurous places on Earth.

Bay and members of the cast and crew of ‘6 Underground’, including star Ryan Reynolds, spent almost a month in the UAE shooting key scenes for the film across 24 diverse locations, which not only doubled for a fictional Middle Eastern country but also Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Nigeria and Afghanistan.
