Wizz Air introduces allocated seating on selected routes
Wizz Air has confirmed it will introduce allocated seating to enhance customers’ travel experience. On selected routes from May 4th and across all WIZZ routes from May 19th, customers will enjoy automatic free allocated seating, which will become part of the booking process.

Wizz Air allows passengers to use electronic devices
Wizz Air has confirmed passengers are now allowed to use Portable Electronic Devices such as mobile phones, electronic readers and tablet computers on all flights.The new guidelines for the use of such devices on board aircraft have been issued by the European Aviation Safety Agency and adopted by the Hungarian Civil Aviation Authority.
New loyalty product from Wizz Air
Wizz Air, today launched a new loyalty product, the WIZZ Privilege Pass, that allows holders unlimited priority boarding and free large cabin bags on all Wizz Air flights during at least one year. Frequent travellers are expected to benefit the most from the WIZZ Privilege Pass, as its price is quickly offset by the savings achieved when not paying separately for a large cabin bag and priority boarding.

Wizz Air has announced that it carried 13.5 million passengers in 2013, representing growth of 12 per cent year on year, with an average load factor of 86 per cent. Last year the Wizz Air fleet consisted of 45 Airbus A320 aircraft, with this figure set to grow to 53 in 2014 with the deliveries of brand new airplanes from Airbus.
