Some 141,000 UK visitors came to Chicago last year, contributing to the total of 2.2 million international visitors in 2018. These visits contribute significantly to the city’s 33 million overnight visitors who came to Chicago last year.

British Airways to move to Daxing airport in Beijing
British Airways has announced that all direct flights to and from Heathrow and Beijing will move to new state-of-the-art Daxing airport from October. The new airport is approximately 50 kilometres from both Beijing city centre and the Xiong’an New Area and only 80 kilometres from Tianjin.
One Too Many campaign returns to UK airports
For the second summer in a row, those travelling from the UK’s airports are set to be warned of the cost of disruptive behaviour at the airport or on a flight. The campaign will remind passengers that the penalties can range from being denied boarding, fines of up to £80,000 or jail for the most serious offences.
