The TUI Group is aiming for growth in its hotel division and is looking to accelerate the expansion of its portfolio. The head of the executive board of the hotels and resorts sector, Sebastian Ebel, will in future, therefore, be provided with two divisional heads.
Peter Krüger will take over as TUI Group director of investor relations. Apart from dialogue with shareholders and analysts, Krüger will also be in charge of strategic and financial projects launched by TUI Group as director investor relations and special projects.
The world’s largest tourist organisation, TUI Group, has confirmed the completion of the disposal of Travelopia. The deal was originally announced in February 2017.
The supervisory board at TUI AG has extended the tenure of Sebastian Ebel as member of the executive board by three years to November 2020. Ebel was appointed a member of the board of the world’s number one tourism group in December 2014 for a term expiring in November 2017.
TUI Group is strengthening its presence in China, with the joint venture with the Chinese CTS Group extended by 15 years to 2033. TUI China was established by CTS and TUI in 2003, with the new deal revealed as TUI Group chief executive Fritz Joussen visits to China.

Mike Schwanke will become managing director at Robinson Club from May, joining the company from his current position as director sales at TUI Cruises. He will jointly manage the quality and market leader for premium club resort holidays with managing director Bernd Mäser.
