Travelport has announced Lufthansa is the latest participant in its Rich Content & Branding solution. Travelport Rich Content & Branding enables airlines to market and retail their products more effectively, fully displaying all of their fares, ancillaries and brand proposition to travel agencies. It includes rich product descriptions and graphics, optional or ancillary products for sale, including fares families, as well as “the next product/price point up” offers to encourage more upselling.
Travelport inks deal with Canton Fair
Travelport has signed a new marketing partnership with the China Import and Export Fair, known as Canton Fair. The agreement involves the targeting of travellers flying to Hong Kong during the tradeshow seasons of Mar/Apr and Sep/Nov who will receive promotional messages for Canton Fair via agents on Travelport’s Travel Commerce Platform.

Travelport has announced a new content and data partnership agreement with Alitrip, the online travel platform of the Alibaba Group. With this partnership, Alitrip will have access to Travelport’s pricing and availability data to support its own fare and shopping platform, as well as the use of Travelport’s suite of flagship shopping products: ePricing and Search Control Console.
