This 29% increase in passenger numbers was attributed to growth across all markets, with notable rises in traffic to Continental Europe, the UK, and transatlantic destinations. The airport’s inclusion in the Regional Airports Programme and government funding supported its operations, aiding in its recovery from the impacts of COVID-19.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced plans to increase the number of international flights departing from Haneda Airport Terminal 2 starting March 31, 2024. Among the 43 ANA international flights departing from Haneda Airport, 26 will now depart from Terminal 2, including routes to various destinations in Europe, Honolulu, Singapore, Sydney, Shanghai, as well as new destinations like New York, Seoul, and Bangkok.
