A British woman has died after falling from a balcony of a high rise hotel complex in Tenerife, according to reports.
Tenerife maintains position as star of the silver screen
Figures released by the Tenerife Film Commission reveal that a total of 88 local and international production companies chose Tenerife as the location for their shoot last year – 20 more than in 2014. Sixteen of these were from the UK, including the film crews of Doctor Who and The Only Way is Essex.
Tenerife reveals brand overhaul with new logo and slogan
The Tenerife Tourism Corporation has unveiled a brand new slogan and the redesign of its traditional ‘X’ logo to accommodate the island’s new positioning, based on product specialisation. The ‘100% Life’ motto will replace the previous ‘Enjoy it all’” from now on, together with a more round shape of the word ‘Tenerife’ and an embossed ‘X’ which displays the shape of Mount Teide, the island’s natural gem.
