TAP boosts Manchester-Lisbon flights
TAP Portugal has increased the frequency of its Manchester to Lisbon service, offering ten flights a week. The service, which delivers UK travellers to the Portuguese capital Lisbon, currently runs seven flights per week.
TAP Portugal expands African operations
TAP has more than tripled the scale of its operations in Africa over the last 10 years, rising from a total of 22 flights per week to that continent in 2003 to 71 from this October with the launch of two new destinations: Tangiers in Morocco and Boa Vista in Cape Verde.

TAP Portugal set for Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa
TAP Portugal will attend this years’ Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa (BTL), which is taking place in Portugal’s capital, Lisbon. BTL is Portugal’s largest travel fair, taking place until March 3rd 2013, and will mark the 25th anniversary of the event.
Emirates and TAP Portugal outline codeshare deal
Emirates and TAP Portugal have announced the start of a reciprocal codeshare agreement enabling passengers from both airlines to benefit from seamless connections effective from today. The reciprocal codeshare will permit customers to enjoy the convenience of a single combined ticket for Emirates and TAP Portugal-operated flights, in addition to linking Emirates’ frequent flyer programme, Skywards, and TAP’s Victoria frequent flyer programme.

TAP Portugal has been recognised at the Grand Final of the 2012 World Travel Awards, taking home the award of World’s Leading Airline to South America. This marks the fourth consecutive year TAP Portugal has received the accolade, which is voted for by travel industry professionals and consumers across 171 countries worldwide.

TAP cements position as leading UK-Portugal airline
TAP Portugal has launched its latest campaign to promote its new daily flight schedule between Manchester and Lisbon. From the October 28th, TAP will take off daily from Manchester, delivering passengers to the Portuguese capital Lisbon, furthering the Anglo-Portuguese alliance and TAP’s status as the main carrier between Portugal and the UK.
TAP Portugal to enhance UK flight options
TAP Portugal is set to further develop the Anglo-Portuguese Alliance, which dates back to the Middle Ages in 1373 and is said to be the oldest alliance in the world, with the introduction of a more frequent service on two of its Portuguese routes. From October 28th, TAP will take off daily from Manchester delivering passengers to the Portuguese capital Lisbon, while also offering a daily connection for Londoners from Heathrow to the Portuguese archipelago, Madeira.
TAP Portugal appoints Hills Balfour in UK
TAP Portugal has appointed leading travel and tourism PR consultancy Hills Balfour to coordinate its public relations activity. Serving a total of 75 destinations in 34 countries worldwide, TAP Portugal is currently the main carrier between the UK and Portugal, with connections to Africa, North and South America.
TAP adds mobile-enabled bookings
TAP, considered the World’s Leading Airline to South America by the prestigious World Travel Awards, has just added a new functionality to the services already available for mobile devices: a booking engine that can be used with smartphones and tablets.
Finnair and TAP Portugal to codeshare
Finnair and TAP Portugal have confirmed they will codeshare on flights between Portugal and Finland. With this codeshare agreement, Finnair’s code will be added to TAP’s direct flights between Lisbon and Helsinki.
