Julius Nyerere International Airport looks forward to new terminal

The managing director of Tanzania Tourist Board Devota Mdachi has expressed her gratitude to the ongoing construction of terminal three of Julius Nyerere International Airport. During a visit to the site she noted the new facility will attract more international airline to the destination of Tanzania once is fully completed and begins operating. Mdachi made this observation recently after visiting a site to see the development of the terminal three constructions which is part of the upgrading project of the airport.

World Travel Awards has unveiled the nominees for its upcoming Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2016. The first event on the annual Grand Tour, the ceremony will this year be hosted by Diamonds La Gemma dell’Est in Zanzibar, Tanzania, on April 9th. With more than 1,500 nominations now revealed, voting is expected to be highly competitive right up until the February 29th deadline.

Tanzania tourism signs deal with Ethiopian Airlines

The Tanzania Tourist Board and Ethiopian Airlines have signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding to promote Tanzania tourism worldwide. The MoU was signed with the intention to increase the number of visitors to both Tanzania and Ethiopia, increase the presence of Tanzania tourism in key international markets, as well as enhance the business profile of Ethiopian Airlines.
