South Africa’s first low cost airline kulula has signed a multi-year distribution agreement with Sabre, including selling the airline’s ancillary products and services in the Sabre global distribution system (GDS).

Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has started rolling out Sabre software, following the billion dollar technology agreement signed by the two companies last year. The implementation of Sabre’s catering software kicks off the largest technology project in the airline’s history, as it migrates all business operations to Sabre software, including rolling out Sabre’s passenger reservations software.

Sabre Travel Network has signed a full-content agreement to distribute VIM Avia fares, schedules and inventory. The deal means more than 350,000 travel agents connected to the Sabre global distribution system will be guaranteed access to all of VIM’s seats and fare classes.

Sabre Hospitality Solutions, the industry’s leading global hospitality technology company, has been selected by Hotel Okura Co., Ltd. to provide distribution services for their 25 member hotels located throughout Asia, North America and Europe.

Low-cost airline easyJet has extended its relationship with Sabre Travel Network to distribute its fares and services to travel agencies. The agreement has been expanded to provide further distribution to Sabre-connected travel agencies with access to easyJet fares through the global distribution system (GDS).

Global technology company Sabre Travel Network is making it easier for travel agents in the UK and Ireland to book car hire and monitor commissions from car rental companies.
