Royal Caribbean outlines Caribbean cruise holiday plans
Royal Caribbean have announced their winter 2013-14 Caribbean cruises on board six innovative ships, including new itineraries from New Orleans. Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas will together offer 140 sailings on 31 itineraries that will call at 20 ports of call.

Royal Caribbean reports first quarter results and updates 2012 guidance
Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. today announced first quarter 2012 net income of $47.0 million, or $0.21 per share, versus $78.4 million, or $0.36 per share, in 2011. First Quarter 2012 results included a $0.01 per share mark-to-market gain on the company’s fuel option portfolio versus an $0.11 per share gain in the first quarter of 2011.
Fall in income at Royal Caribbean
Cruise operator Royal Caribbean has seen net income fall 40 per cent to $47 million over the first quarter of financial 2012. However, revenue at the cruise giant increased from $1.7 billion to $1.8 billion.
Explorer of the Seas set to cruise from New Jersey in 2013
Royal Caribbean International’s Explorer of the Seas’ summer and autumn 2013 line-up will feature 30 sailings to 17 spectacular ports of call on seven itineraries all from the Cape Liberty Cruise Port in New Jersey, near Manhattan. Holidaymakers can combine a visit to the Big Apple with a cruise to destinations such as Bermuda, Caribbean and Canada and New England from April until October 2013.

Year round cruise and theme-park options continue into 2013
Royal Caribbean International’s Freedom of the Seas will sail 26 new cruises between May and October 2013 every Sunday from Port Canaveral of Florida’s Space Coast. The cruises – alternating between seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries – will feature stars of DreamWorks entertainment such as Alex the Lion, Po the Dragon Warrior, Shrek and Fiona.
ABB win $60 million Royal Caribbean order
ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has won orders worth more than $60 million to provide complete power and Azipod ® propulsion systems for two new cruise ships to be built by Meyer Werft at its shipyard in Papenburg, Germany for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. The ABB order for the first ship was booked in 2011 and for the second vessel in the first quarter of 2012.

Royal Caribbean ends longest season in the gulf successfully
Royal Caribbean International’s third and longest season in the Gulf is ending on a high note with nearly all sailings fully booked. After the last 12-night voyage to India, which departed April 7th, and will visit Cochin, New Mangalore, Goa, Bombay and Muscat, Brilliance of the Seas will start her 15-night repositioning cruise through the Suez Canal back to Rome on April 19th, calling at Muscat, Aqaba, Safaga, Sharm el Sheikh and Alexandria.
