Royal Caribbean to return to New Orleans for first time in three years
After a three year hiatus, Royal Caribbean will return to the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, with the newly announced repositioning of Vision of the Seas for the 2018-2019 winter season. The 915-foot cruise ship will sail seven-night itineraries to culture rich destinations across the Bahamas and Yucatan Peninsula.

Royal Caribbean has announced the appointment of George Scott as regional sales manager for Scotland. Starting in January 2017, Scott joins Royal Caribbean from Kuoni Travel where he held the position of store manager, and Thomson where he was senior retail manager.
World’s three largest cruise ships sail together for first time
Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis-class ships, Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas and the new Harmony of the Seas, struck a chord earlier, greeting each other at sea for the first and possibly only time. In a meeting of unprecedented proportions, the three record-breaking sisters came together to celebrate the US arrival of Harmony of the Seas on the eve of the ship’s debut in her new permanent homeport of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Crew member killed in Harmony of the Seas accident
A member of the Harmony of the Seas crew has been killed on board the vessel during a lifeboat drill. The accident happened while the world’s largest cruise ship was docked at the port of Marseille, France.
