United Airlines Selects Pratt & Whitney GTF™ Engines
Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, announced today that United Airlines (“United”) has selected the GTF engine to power 70 Airbus A321neo and 50 A321XLR firm aircraft orders, the first of which is expected to be delivered this year.
Vietjet signs $3bn engine deal with Pratt & Whitney
Vietjet has signed an agreement with Pratt & Whitney to provide PurePower Geared Turbofan engines for the airlines order of 63 Airbus A320neo and A321 aircraft. “We are very pleased to choose the PurePower Geared Turbofan engine for our Airbus A320neo and A321neo fleet,” said Madam Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, president, Vietjet.
Martinair Selects Pratt & Whitney for Long-Term Maintenance Agreement
Martinair has selected Pratt & Whitney for a 10-year exclusive maintenance service agreement. Under the agreement, Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners will provide maintenance services for Martinair’s fleet of PW4056, PW4060 and PW4462 engines. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. company.
