Martinair Selects Pratt & Whitney for Long-Term Maintenance Agreement

Martinair has selected Pratt & Whitney for a 10-year exclusive maintenance service agreement. Under the agreement, Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners will provide maintenance services for Martinair’s fleet of PW4056, PW4060 and PW4462 engines. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. company.

“We are happy to continue to count on Pratt & Whitney for our maintenance needs,” said Peter van der Horst, vice president of Maintenance and Engineering, Martinair. “This selection expands the original agreement we initially signed with Pratt & Whitney in 2005 and results from our continued confidence in the services they provide.”

Martinair, based in Amsterdam, operates passenger and cargo services to over 50 destinations around the world.

Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners is a total service provider for engines made by Pratt & Whitney, International Aero Engines, General Electric, Rolls-Royce and CFMI. In addition to engine overhaul and repair services, GSP provides customers with improved engine performance and increased asset value through a portfolio of services including line maintenance, engine monitoring and diagnostics, environmentally friendly EcoPower(R) water washes, leased engines, custom engine service programs, and new and repaired parts.
