Oman Air and Malaysia Airlines have entered a code-share partnership opening up more international destinations to their customers. Oman Air’s passengers who currently enjoy direct flights to Kuala Lumpur will now be connected to more destinations in Malaysia, China and Australia.

Oman Air has celebrated the launch of its new daily flight WY105 from Muscat to Manchester. The new service will depart Muscat at 14:00 daily and arrive in Manchester at 19:05. The return flight will be from Manchester at 20:45 arriving in Muscat at 07:20 the next day.

Oman Air continues its ambitious expansion plans in 2017 boosting its fleet with new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner which joined recently. This is in addition to the new 737-800s and 787-9 which were added to the fleet in 2017.

Oman Air has welcomed the launch of its inaugural flight WY721 to Nairobi, Kenya. The four times weekly flight to Nairobi operated by a Boeing 737-800, is Oman Air’s first service to Kenya.

Adding to the service currently operating between Muscat and Calicut (Kozhikode), Oman Air has announced the launch of its new daily direct flight between Salalah and Calicut, Kerala. Flights will start on March 27th in the latest move in the airline’s ambitious and dynamic programme of fleet and network expansion.
