The Okura Prestige Bangkok has appointed Dutch native Niek Hammer as the new general manager. Married with three children, multi-lingual Hammer joins the property from Hotel Okura Macau where he held the general manager’s position for three years.

Hotel Okura, a leading Japanese hospitality company headquartered in Tokyo, is launching an online travel planner app. The app, developed by TripSketch Corporation, helps travelers identify local attractions and plan sightseeing and activities.
