Escorted tours specialist Newmarket Holidays has launched a new version of one of its most popular India tours, with an enhanced itinerary that combines cultural exploration, wildlife and a relaxing beach break. Data Shows Retired Women Are Leading the Solo Travel Trend
Retired women are leading the charge for solo travel, according to bookings data from escorted tours specialist Newmarket Holidays. The analysis comes from more than a year’s worth of booking data showing that eight in 10 (81%) bookings for the operator’s Exclusively Solo group tours are made by women, and almost half (46%) are aged 65 to 74.
Lynch takes up account manager role with Newmarket
Newmarket Holidays has appointed Samantha Lynch as account manager for south Wales and the south-west of England. Lynch, who joins the touring specialists on January 1st, has held business development roles with Superbreak.
Alobaidi to lead Newmarket Holidays from September
Niel Alobaidi will be taking up the position of chief executive of Newmarket Holidays in September. Alobaidi is currently managing director of Emirates Holidays in the UK and will become the first person to hold the role with Newmarket.
