New hotel options in UAE as Wyndham signs two new properties
Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the signing of a management agreement with Golden Sands Hotels for two Ramada hotels in the United Arab Emirates. Effective immediately, the deal sees the Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai and Ramada Sharjah join the Wyndham Grand Regency Doha and Ramada Encore Doha in the company’s growing portfolio of managed hotels within the Middle East.
Westminster to welcome first new London InterContinental Hotel in 36 years
Arriving on London’s exciting hotel scene in November 2012, the much-anticipated InterContinental London Westminster will open its doors in the political heartland of Britain. Hotel Indigo set for new European openings

New Swissôtel set for Dubai opening
After opening its first hotel in the Middle East in the Holy city of Makkah, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts is adding another deluxe hotel in the region: Swissôtel Jadaf Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The hotel is expected to open by early 2016.

Courtyard by Marriott to open first hotel in Chile
Marriott has announced today to open a new 200-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Santiago in the fourth quarter of 2014, under an agreement with Falabella Group, the largest retailer in South America, with operations in Chile, Argentina, Peru and Colombia. Situated immediately adjacent to the existing 280-room Santiago Marriott in the Las Condes business district filled with restaurants, bars and shops, the Courtyard will offers easy access to all of Santiago and some of the best views of the Andes Mountains.

Ibis Christchurch first back into quake-hit city
Ibis Christchurch has opened its doors today, becoming the first city centre hotel to re-open since the February 2011 earthquake. The Ibis - located in Hereford Street, just off Cathedral Square - has undergone major remedial work, including the renovation of all 155 rooms and public areas, as well as structural strengthening to meet the city’s new building code.
