New hotel options in UAE as Wyndham signs two new properties
Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the signing of a management agreement with Golden Sands Hotels for two Ramada hotels in the United Arab Emirates.
Effective immediately, the deal sees the Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai and Ramada Sharjah join the Wyndham Grand Regency Doha and Ramada Encore Doha in the company’s growing portfolio of managed hotels within the Middle East.
Strategically located in one of Dubai’s most exclusive neighbourhoods, the newly opened Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach Residence offers guests 356 deluxe studios, superior rooms and two, three and four-bedroom suites.
The Ramada Sharjah hotel, just seven kilometres from Dubai International Airport, comprises 245 spacious one and two-bedroom suites, each including a separate lounge, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen.
Located in close proximity to the Sharjah Expo Centre and within easy reach of attractions in both the Sharjah and Dubai Emirates, the hotel is unique in being the only internationally branded all-suite hotel in Sharjah.
“Over the last 18 months, tourism has experienced a renewed resurgence in the UAE,” said Michael Zager, vice president managed operations, Wyndham Hotel Group Europe, Middle East and Africa.
“With over nine million visitors to Dubai alone last year, there is certainly demand for high quality, affordable accommodation such as that offered by the Ramada brand.”
Wyndham is the largest hotel company in the world with over 7,170 hotels and part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation.
