Wyndham takes Super 8 brand into Germany with GS Star deal
Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the groundbreaking of its first Super 8 hotel in Germany, the 160-room Super 8 Munich. Developed by GS Star, the hotel is the first of ten Super 8 hotels to be developed in the country as part of a previously signed multi-year agreement between Tristar Hotel and Wyndham.

Marriott announces 27,000 new rooms in Europe
Since 2010, Marriott International has opened or signed almost 27,000 new rooms and launched five brands in Europe; Autograph Collection, EDITION, AC Hotels by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott and Moxy. The number of hotels signed annually in Europe has doubled[1] since 2010 and Marriott worldwide had a record growth year in 2013, signing 67,000 rooms.
Choice Hotels expands in Europe adding 11 properties

Grace Hotels to develop property in Kalamata, Greece
Grace Hotels has announced plans for a new hotel development including residential villas just outside the historic city of Kalamata, in the south western part of the Peloponnese in Greece. The hotel will comprise 125 rooms and suites plus up to 40 luxury residential villas, each with three, four or five bedrooms.
Starwood’s fast growing Aloft brand poised to launch in Sarasota

IHG signs three Holiday Inn Hotels in Turkey
InterContinental Hotels Group has recently expanded its presence in Turkey with the signing of three Holiday Inn hotels in the popular destination: Holiday Inn Ankara Çukurambar, Holiday Inn Istanbul Tuzla Bay and Holiday Inn Istanbul Kadikoy. The first of the three to open during quarter two this year is the 140-room Holiday Inn Ankara Çukurambar which will open under a franchise agreement with Aska Otomotiv ve Petrol Urunleri Tic A.S.
