Minor Hotel Group expands Mozambique portfolio
Minor Hotel Group has announced the addition of three properties in Mozambique to its portfolio and a 25 per cent equity investment in the properties. They will be reflagged to MHG’s Anantara and AVANI brands later this year and take the total number of MHG properties in operation to 108 and the total number of rooms to over 13,000.
Hyatt Regency Chongming opens to guests
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Chongming, located on Chongming Island in Shanghai, China. The hotel introduces the Hyatt Regency brand to Shanghai and the first international upscale resort to the island. Located at the mouth of the Yangtze River and the East China Sea, Chongming Island is the world’s largest alluvial river island.
Pan Pacific Hotels Group opens first international hotel in Myanmar’s capital
Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the opening of ParkRoyal Nay Pyi Taw, the first international hotel in the capital of Myanmar, Nay Pyi Taw.
