Mastercard and London & Partners have announced a new strategic partnership which will see the organisations combine their expertise to deliver smart solutions for the city. As part of the partnership, the mayor of London’s official promotional agency and Mastercard have launched a mobile application to improve the visitor experience in London.
London tops the list as the destination of choice for international travellers for the third time in four years, according to the annual MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index released today. The Index is now in its fourth year which, using data from 132 most travelled cities from around the world, reveals that London is projected to receive 18.7 million international visitors in 2014.
