Lufthansa City Airlines starts flight operations with A320neo on June 26
Lufthansa City Airlines, the youngest airline in the Lufthansa Group, will commence flight operations on June 26, 2024. The first flight VL2508 is scheduled to take off from Munich at 09:10 a.m. local time with an Airbus A320neo heading for Birmingham. Lufthansa City Airlines starts ticket sales in April and flight operations in June
As the newest airline in the Lufthansa Group, Lufthansa City Airlines will launch its flight operations on June 26, 2024 with the first flight from Munich to Birmingham. As of now guests will be able to book their tickets on feeder services for Lufthansa as well as for direct flights between Munich and numerous destinations. It will then also be possible to book the offered routes under flight numbers with the new airline code “VL” via the familiar Lufthansa Group sales channels.
