Flamingo Las Vegas set for $90m accommodation overhaul
Caesars Entertainment will undertake a $90 million renovation of 1,270 rooms at Flamingo Las Vegas. The renovation will begin in late August 2017, with the first guest arrivals expected in November 2017, and final completion of all rooms expected in the second quarter of 2018.

Qatar Airways to take off for Las Vegas in 2018
Qatar Airways has announced it will commence four times weekly, non-stop service to Las Vegas, Nevada, starting January next year. The new route will be the airline’s eleventh to the United States, connecting McCarran International Airport to Hamad International Airport in Doha, making Qatar Airways the first Gulf carrier to provide regular scheduled service to Las Vegas.

For the third consecutive year, Las Vegas continued historic visitation growth, setting a new all-time record. The city welcomed 42.9 million visitors in 2016, surpassing 2015’s record-setting 42.3 million.
