Wild Wadi’s Swim Burj Al Arab raises AED200,000 in Aid of MSF
Wild Wadi’s 8th annual Swim Burj Al Arab was a huge success as a record breaking 600 people swam around Burj Al Arab this morning and raised more than Dh200,000 for the charity Médecins Sans Frontières.

Endangered Green Turtle Given New Lease on Life
Dubai’s Turtle Rehabilitation Unit has successfully satellite tagged and returned a huge 150kg Green Turtle along with 15 critically endangered Hawksbill Turtles back to their natural habitat, following several months of rehabilitation at Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah. The turtle was named Jade by one fan who won the Twitter and Facebook naming competition.

Wild Wadi Waterpark and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) are preparing for enthusiastic swimmers to take to Dubai’s waters for the much-loved Wild Wadi’s Swim Burj Al Arab. Under the watchful eyes of Wild Wadi lifeguards, the swim will take place at 8am on Friday 20th November 2009, following a 1km arc around the iconic Burj Al Arab, finishing at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
