JetBlue Airways will serve Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands from November 15th 2012 with three timess weekly service on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Saturday service from Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) beginning on November 17, 2012.

JetBlue pilot Clayton Osbon was suffering from the effects of a “severe mental disease or defect” when he began screaming about a bomb onboard his aircraft. As such, he cannot be found guilty of any criminal charges relating to the incident a court in the United States has ruled.

JetBlue and Air China have formed an interline agreement and plan to implement a codeshare deal this year. The new deal marks JetBlue’s first partnership with a Chinese carrier.

Emirates has announced a one-way codeshare with JetBlue that will offer its passengers seamless connections to a dozen US cities through New York’s JFK Airport. Emirates’ network now encompasses 123 cities globally, served by a fleet of 171 aircraft.
