Air France to bring world to East Midlands
Air France has confirmed it will launch a new service from East Midlands Airport to the rest of the world via Paris through a new code share partnership with Flybe. The twice-daily service that commences from October 28th 2012 will give business and leisure travellers from the East Midlands region the opportunity to connect with Air France’s extensive global network of 180 destinations from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Flybe to host international Embraer meeting

Fybe welcomes all party parliamentary group for aviation report
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline welcomed wholeheartedly the publication of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Aviation’s report into its Inquiry into Aviation Policy and Air Passenger Duty (APD). In it, the APPG calls, among other things, for the government to undertake an economic analysis of the impact of APD on the UK economy and to protect UK regional access to any future UK hub airport.

Flybe announces-20% increase in hand baggage size
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today announced an increase in its hand baggage dimensions that with immediate effect sets a new maximum bag size of 55x40x23cm, equating to a 20% increase in volume over the previous limit. To ensure that passengers are able to avail themselves of the very best deal available, the airline has also teamed up with Antler luggage to offer the opportunity of purchasing a quality approved cabin bag for £50, a significant saving on the regular retail price of £120.
KLM links with Flybe for new codeshare deal
KLM and Flybe have launched a codeshare agreement on two routes, between Amsterdam and Southampton and between Amsterdam and Inverness. Through this new partnership, KLM will be offering its customers three daily flights on the Southampton-Amsterdam route and one daily flight on the Inverness-Amsterdam route.
