Eva Air launches creative new safety video
Eva Air is bringing art to the skies with its new inflight safety video. Combining the talents of award-winning director Robin Lee and internationally celebrated choreographer Bulareyaung Pagarlava, the five-minute, 26-second video is now available on all Eva flights worldwide and on international flights operated by its regional affiliate, Uni Air.

Eva Air retires Boeing 747-400 after 25 years of service
Eva Air has said goodbye to the old and welcomed the new in a retirement celebration for its Boeing 747-400 passenger aircraft, an event which also saw the debut of its new uniforms as designed by Shiatzy Chen.

EVA Air partners with RIMOWA for new e-tags
EVA Air has partnered with RIMOWA to introduce cutting-edge electronic tags into the carrier’s check-in procedures. Becoming the first airline is Asia and the second worldwide to officially offer the new service, the independent Taiwanese airline’s passengers can now use a mobile app and RIMOWA’s electronic tag system for a seamless check-in experience.

EVA Air signs codeshare deal with Star Alliance partner Avianca
EVA Air has announced the initiation of a code-share agreement with fellow Star Alliance member, Avianca, making travel between Asia and Central America much more convenient for both the airlines’ passengers. The new code-share agreement will enable EVA Air’s passengers to connect through Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco to connect with Avianca flights to San Salvador, while Avianca’s passengers will be able to connect through the same US airports for flights to Taipei.

EVA Air to go daily on Paris-Taipei route
EVA Air has announced an increased service on its Paris-Taipei route which will operate daily, non-stop flights as of Monday, October 10th. Increasing from three-times-weekly, EVA Air will continue to operate its existing service with the iconic Hello Kitty Hand-in-Hand Jet, introducing a modern, standard livery Boeing 777-300ER for the additional four flights to the European City of Light.

EVA Air to launch Chicago flights in November
Star Alliance member EVA Air has announced a brand new route, the third to be launched in 2016, further reinforcing its status as one of Asia’s most dynamic carriers. As of November 3rd, EVA Air will connect Taipei directly with Chicago on its latest-model, Wi-Fi equipped Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, making the ‘Windy City’ its eighth gateway into North America.

EVA Air launches new livery with latest Boeing 777
EVA Air has taken delivery of its 22nd Boeing 777-300ER at the Boeing factory in Everett, Washington. During the delivery, EVA Air also unveiled a new corporate identity system and livery. EVA Air chairman K.W. Chang and Boeing vice President Jeff Klemann led the ceremony. The EVA Air chairman, a certified pilot who has earned the rank of captain, took charge of the cockpit for the ferry flight to Taipei and departed Seattle’s Paine Field Airport at 13:30.

EVA Air reaches $1.5bn deal with Boeing
Boeing and EVA Air have finalised an order for five 777 Freighters. The order, valued at more than $1.5 billion at list prices, will represent the first 777 Freighters to join EVA Air’s fleet, and the first to be delivered to a Taiwanese airline. Boeing first announced EVA Air’s intent to order the five 777 Freighters at the 2015 Paris Air Show last month.

EVA Air launches codeshare route with Turkish Airlines
EVA Air has initiated a codeshare agreement with fellow Star Alliance member, Turkish Airlines on its Taipei–Istanbul route. The deal marks the first stage of collaboration between these two airlines, which will aim to benefit passengers with a higher number of combined frequencies for better connectivity and increased travel flexibility between these two countries.

EVA Air signs expanded codeshare deal with Singapore Airlines
EVA Air and Singapore Airlines customers can now enjoy more seamless travel to the United States and Canada, as a result of an expanded codeshare agreement between the two carriers. Singapore Airlines will codeshare on EVA Air-operated flights from Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport to Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Toronto and Vancouver.

EVA Air to launch new flight to Houston in June 2015
Taiwan’s leading independent airline, EVA Air, is introducing non-stop flights between Taipei and Houston. Effective from June 19th next year, the airline will initiate the new service with three flights a week and increase frequency to four from July 1st 2015. The new route will provide passengers with a comfortable way to fly from the south western region of the United States to Taipei and conveniently transfer to major destinations throughout Asia.

EVA Air flies into Terminal 2 at London Heathrow
Passengers travelling with EVA Air can now enjoy improved amenities and services following the move of the Taiwanese airline’s operations to London Heathrow’s new Terminal 2, The Queen’s Terminal. With the opening of the hotly-anticipated T2, EVA Air passengers will benefit from easier and faster routes through check-in and a new auto-boarding system billed as the most streamlined experience in the world.
