Staff to strike for seven days at Eurostar starting Friday
Train managers at Eurostar are to walk out on strike for seven days as part of a long-running dispute over work-life balance at the train operator. Four days of strike action will being at 00:01 Friday, lasting until 23:59 hours on Monday. A further three days of strike action will begin at 00:01 on Saturday August 27th, ending at 23:59 on Monday, August 29th.

Friday March 25th is the busiest day for departures from the UK, with over 22,000 people travelling on this day alone, looking to make the most of long weekend – a 17 per cent increase compared to Easter Friday last year.
