Etihad Airways Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with the Tourism Authority of Thailand
Etihad Airways signs a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to strengthen the relationship between the Kingdom of Thailand and the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, at Arabian Travel Market 2025. The agreement aims to promote tourism to Thailand through Etihad’s extensive global network. Aligning with Etihad’s mission to deliver extraordinary travel experiences, the MoC will see both organisations advocating high-quality travel experiences in Thailand through collaborative activities and promotion.
Etihad Airways shrugs off tariff turmoil, sees opportunities
Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways is not seeing any effects from the turmoil caused by U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff policies, its CEO Antonoaldo Neves told Reuters on Monday, while adding it was too early to fully gauge the impact of the levies. Trump’s announcement of sweeping tariffs on dozens of U.S. trading partners this month - and then his pausing of most of them - created widespread market uncertainty and raised fears of a global economic downturn.
Etihad Airways Joins IATA’s Turbulence Aware Programme
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has become the latest airline to join IATA’s Turbulence Aware programme. Turbulence Aware collates anonymised data about turbulence from flights operated by participating airlines. This real-time, accurate reporting in turn helps pilots and flight dispatchers minimise the effects of turbulence and plot the smoothest and most efficient flight paths.

ETIHAD REPORTS MARCH 2025 TRAFFIC STATISTICS
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has released its traffic statistics for March 2025, continuing its positive performance as one of the fastest growing global carriers. The airline welcomed 1.6 million guests during the month, up 14% compared to the same period last year, as Etihad’s upward trajectory continued. The airline recorded a passenger load factor of 87% in the first quarter of the year, up from 86% in the same period in 2024, while expanding its capacity, and increasing its operating fleet size by 10%.
ETIHAD AIRWAYS UNVEILS NEW ROUTE TO PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is expanding its global network yet further with the launch of flights to Peshawar, Pakistan, starting 29 September 2025. The new route will connect Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi (AUH) with Bacha Khan International Airport (PEW) in Peshawar, offering seamless connections to Etihad’s growing list of dots on its route map.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, is making flights to Medan, the gateway to Northern Sumatra, available for booking from today. DCT Abu Dhabi and Etihad Airways Partner to Launch New Abu Dhabi Pass
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Etihad Airways have today launched the new Abu Dhabi Pass at ITB Berlin, the world’s largest tourism trade fair. The new Abu Dhabi Pass transforms the visitor experience into a fully digital journey, simplifying access to the emirate’s offerings. Etihad passengers will receive an email with a link to access the Abu Dhabi Pass through a dedicated website, with no additional cost or app download required.
