Emirates has announced plans to establish Emirates Flight Training Academy, a dedicated flight training centre that will be located at Dubai World Central Airport. The Dubai-based carrier is investing AED400 million in the development of the facility, which will have the capacity to train up to 400 students at one time.

Emirates’ A380 services to London Heathrow will become triple daily from 24th January 2012. This will mean three out of the airline’s five daily flights into Heathrow will be served by the superjumbo.

Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, has strengthened its commitment to Tunis with the introduction of two extra flights, meaning that it will fly six times weekly from 30 October 2011.
