Emirates Airline finalises $56bn Boeing order
Boeing and Emirates Airline have finalised an order for 150 777Xs, valued at $56 billion at list prices. First announced as a commitment at the 2013 Dubai Airshow, the order by the world’s largest 777 operator was part of the largest product launch in commercial jetliner history.
Emirates launches double daily A380 service to Mauritius
Emirates has confirmed it will serve Mauritius with a double daily A380 service from December 1st this year. This second A380, which will operate as flight EK 703/704, replaces the existing Boeing 777 operation and increases Emirates’ capacity on the route by 19 per cent, further meeting the demand on the route and demonstrating the growth of Mauritius as a global destination.

Emirates links Middle Eastern destinations with new flights
Doha is to become Emirates’ best served destination as part of a boost to frequencies throughout the Middle East from December 1st. The Qatari capital, Bahrain, Muscat and Kuwait will all receive an extra daily flight – bolting 28 flights onto the airline’s regional offering and taking its total number of Middle East weekly departures from Dubai to 276.

Emirates increases capacity to San Francisco and Houston
Emirates is adding passenger and cargo capacity in San Francisco and Houston on December 1st and 3rd respectively when it switches from operating the routes with a Boeing 777-300ER to its iconic double-decker Airbus A380. The A380 will offer an additional 135 seats to San Francisco and 137 to Houston, representing a 38 per cent increase in overall passenger capacity, and 80 per cent more seats across the premium cabins.

Emirates boosts Karachi to six flights daily
Emirates is making it even more convenient for passengers to connect with Karachi as it launches its sixth daily service to the city from August 1st. The Dubai-based carrier has served Karachi since it was founded in 1985, and in the past decade alone has transported over six million passengers on the route.

Emirates increases capacity on Boston route
Emirates will be able to connect more people and cargo with Boston from August 1st when it switches from its Boeing 777-200LR currently operating the route to a larger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, adding passenger and cargo capacity. Emirates launched its Boston service - its eighth US gateway - on March 10th 2014.
