All You Need is Ecuador campaign unveiled in London
The ministry of tourism of Ecuador has hosted the global launch of the second stage of its ‘All You Need Is Ecuador’ campaign. The event took place at London’s emblematic Tate Modern, with the presence of minister of tourism Sandra Naranjo and other government representatives from the country, as well as guests from the UK tourism industry, media, and Ecuadorian private sector.

Major tourism funding push from Ecuador
The government of Ecuador is slated to increase the country’s annual tourism budget from $40 million to $150 million, minister of tourism Vinicio Alvarado announced last week during TravelMart Latin America. The event is considered the leading regional tourism industry conference, and was hosted in Quito.

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened its second hotel in Ecuador as part of the group’s regional expansion. The seven-story 122-room Holiday Inn Hotel Guayaquil Airport in Guayaquil is adjacent to the José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport.
First metro line for Quito gets the green light
