Suthumpun assumes chief executive role at Dusit International
Asian hospitality group Dusit International has welcomed a new group chief executive officer, the third in the company’s storied 67-year history and the first to be named from outside of the founding family. Suphajee Suthumpun, previously the chief of Thaicom, succeeds Chanin Donavanik, who will take up the roles of vice chairman and chairman of the executive committee.

Dusit Fudu Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Huoshan County Huachen Tourism Real Estate Development to manage an upscale, 300-room hot springs resort in Dabieshan, Anhui Province. Scheduled to open by the end of 2018, it will be the first internationally branded resort in Dabieshan.
