British Airways customers can now meditate their way to a more relaxing flight, thanks to a new in-flight entertainment channel on the airline’s long-haul routes. The Headspace video channel is packed with content designed to help travellers unwind in the air, by practicing simple meditation and mindfulness exercises.

British Airways is launching the only direct flight between London and Santiago, Chile from January 3rd, 2017. Santiago will become the airline’s lengthiest long-haul route, taking 14 hours 40 minutes, nearly an hour more than the current longest flight of 13 hours 50 minutes service to Buenos Aires. The four-a-week flight will be served by the airline’s newest aircraft, the four-cabin Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, complete with a new First cabin.

British Airways is rolling out its popular pre-order meal service for customers on long-haul flights from Gatwick.

British Airways has announced it will increase capacity by 784 seats a week on flights between London and Nairobi for summer 2016 through the introduction of a Boeing 747-400 on the route. The airline has taken the decision due to the growing sales and increased demand for Kenya it is seeing in the UK.
