Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) and Alstom Transport have signed a contract worth €160 million for the supply of 38 additional Diesel regional trains Coradia Lint in Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg.
Alstom Transport has received an order from the Swedish Public Transport Authority AB Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL) for 46 new Coradia Nordic regional trains.
The new Bologna High Speed bypass Line, equipped with Alstom signalling system, is now in service.
Alstom has signed a signalling contract with WSW mobil GmbH to install the ERTMS1-based train command and control system ATLASTM400 on the whole Wuppertaler Schwebebahn line (13.3 km, 20 stations with 2 depots) and on 31 vehicles as well as on the historical “Kaiserwagen” which is over a century old.
Europorte, the rail freight subsidiary of the Eurotunnel Group, and Alstom have signed a partnership agreement covering the maintenance of 17 Alstom manufactured Prima locomotives now operated by Europorte.
Alstom and DB Mobility Network Logistics AG have signed a contract for the takeover of the 49% stake held by DB Mobility Network Logistics AG in the “Alstom Lokomotiven Service GmbH” joint venture in Stendal (Germany). Alstom Deutschland GmbH, who was holding a 51% stake since the creation of the JV in 2002, now becomes the sole shareholder.

Alstom Transport will manufacture 28 Coradia Continental regional trains for the German operator Deutsche Bahn Regio NRW GmbH. The contract is worth approximately €140 million. This is the first stage of the frame contract signed in 2011 with DB Regio for the delivery of up to 400 trains.
