Air Canada today introduced CHOOOSE, a global climate technology company as the airline’s new carbon offset program provider. The option to purchase verified carbon offsets is now seamlessly integrated into the airline’s Canadian and US booking websites.

In celebration of its 85th anniversary, Air Canada today donated its historic aircraft, an original Lockheed L-10A Electra airplane to Winnipeg’s Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada. The iconic aircraft, the first fleet type flown by the carrier, made its final journey as it taxied from the Air Canada hangar at Winnipeg International Airport to the Museum at a handover ceremony. The airplane will go on permanent public display as an iconic piece of aviation history.

Air Canada has announced the launch of its new daily non-stop seasonal service between London Heathrow and Mumbai, starting 29 October 2022 – 24 March 2023. The new service is part of Air Canada’s resumption of flights from Toronto to Mumbai via London-Heathrow.
