Abacus launches automated exchange solution for net fares
Abacus International has announced the launch of the first and only automated exchange solution for net fares. Net fares are an increasing component of Asian airlines distribution strategies with key Asian travel markets now issuing between 40 and 60 per cent of all tickets via net fares.
Trade Air signs FLYFokker ABACUS agreement
Fokker Services is pleased to announce that Trade Air has decided to enter into a FLYFokker ABACUS program for its Fokker 100 aircraft. Under this program Fokker Services will provide component support, including forward exchange and reconditioning services, covering the major line replaceable units of the Trade Air fleet.

Far Eastern Air Transport signs with Abacus
Abacus International has announced an exclusive content agreement with Taiwanese carrier Far Eastern Air Transport. Under the agreement, Far Eastern Air Transport will provide Abacus connected travel agents with full access to fares and inventory, and only Abacus agents will be able to book directly for the airline.

New leadership for tech giant Abacus in China
Abacus International has promoted Jack Zhai Fu Hua to chairman of Abacus China in preparation for the deregulation change by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, which will take effect on the October 1st. Zhai, formerly the general manager of Abacus’ China operations, will be responsible for China-specific strategies in light of market opening as well as expansion of the China operations and team.
