The Emirates A380 has touched down at the airport in Mini-Europe, bringing one of the most recognisable aircrafts to Brussels’ captivating world of miniature monuments, displays, and animations. The Emirates A380 model has been replicated in perfect detail, taking over 60 hours of intricate craftsmanship by Mini-Europe’s expert modellers, to capture the distinctive features of the A380 and iconic Emirates livery. Custom-made at a scale of 1:25, the aircraft still measures nearly three meters in length (292 cm) with an impressive wingspan of 320 cm and a height of 45 cm. From the proportions of the fuselage to the fine details of the livery, the model highlights the expertise and craftsmanship that define Mini-Europe’s creations.

easyJet and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport deploy automated taxiing to reduce ground emissions
easyJet and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport are today announcing the rollout of electronic TaxiBot technology for Airbus aircraft operations at Schiphol, following a successful trial earlier this year. The introduction marks another step in easyJet’s ongoing strategy to improve operational efficiency and reduce emissions both in the air and on the ground. TaxiBot, funded by the SESAR project HERON**, is a semi-robotic, push-pull-free aircraft tractor that enables aircraft to taxi between the gate and runway without using their main jet engines. Instead, the aircraft operates using only its Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), significantly reducing fuel burn, CO₂ emissions and noise during ground operations.

The Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau will kick off “The Art of Dining,” a Daytona Beach area restaurant month designed for visitors and residents to explore the elevated dining scene within the destination. “The Art of Dining,” which begins June 1 and continues through June 30, will feature participating restaurants in the Daytona Beach area offering specially crafted menus. Options will feature three-course meals at $60 or $75 price points. From fresh seafood and other appetizing creations, “The Art of Dining” will showcase something for every appetite.
