Wightlink Ferries prepares for festival season

Wightlink Ferries, a leading ferry company between the mainland and the Isle of Wight, is today launching its new infographic, showcasing a number of unusual facts about key festivals being hosted on the Island this summer.

From the Garlic Festival to Bestival, Wightlink encourages visitors to find out more about the Island’s festivals and take part in its #WightLive campaign.

The infographic, which can be found here, is an interactive site that leads viewers along the journey of the Island’s festivals.

The infographic focuses on the Isle of Wight Festival, the Festival of the Sea, the Garlic Festival, V-Dub festival, Bestival and the Isle of Wight Cycling Festival.

The infographic is part of Wightlink’s wider #Wightlive campaign, promoting the huge array of festivals that happen on the Island.

Using the #Wightlive web app, visitors can also take part in the #Wightlive photo competition, which invites travellers and festival-goers to use the #Wightlive Polaroid frame to ‘take centre stage’ and take a photo of themselves within the Polaroid.

The frame will be available as a downloadable app from Wightlink Ferries’ website.
