The Western Union Company and UK tour operator TUI UK & Ireland, home to the brands Thomson and First Choice, have announced a new five year contract to ensure Western Union’s money transfer services will continue to be available in travel shops across the UK.

The deal sees TUI UK & Ireland and Western Union extend their successful ten year collaboration and means that holidaymakers, as well as many other customer groups, who need cash to be sent to them quickly by family or friends, can do so conveniently at a ‘Thomson featuring First Choice’ travel shop.

Customers can also send money at Thomson travel shops directly to people’s bank accounts, or for collection at one of Western Union’s 520,000 agent locations around the world.

They can also send money to a recipient’s mobile wallet in a select number of countries.
