Variety Cruises entices holidaymakers to enjoy the sweet life

Boutique cruise specialists Variety Cruises is delighted to announce its latest route, the Dolce Vita Cruise- an eight day voyage aboard its three-sail cruiser the Panorama ,departing from Catania, Italy or from Valetta, Malta. The new itinerary - which commences on 25th April 2014 -  will create an idyllic balance between conventional cruising and private yachting, offering guests the chance to explore Sicily, Malta and the Aeolian Islands both by foot and by water. Each day guests will stop in a new port to discover ancient histories and new cultures set against a backdrop of picturesque serenity.

The Dolce Vita Cruise offers a huge range of daily excursions including - to name a few - visits to the infamous Mount Etna, the Vulcano Island mud baths, the structures at the Tarxien in Malta, the cathedrals in Gozo Harbour and the Roman Amphitheatre in Syracuse. Sightseeing by boat also forms part of the itinerary when the Dolce Vita Cruise meanders past the island of Stromboli by night for a natural “fireworks display” from its famous live volcano and of course no Variety Cruises’ itinerary would be complete without plenty of swim stops in undiscovered coves along the way.

The Sail Cruiser Panorama comprises just 25 cabins located across three decks and offers the highest standards of accommodation and comfort. During the day guests can enjoy delicious fare carefully created by Variety Cruises’ chefs and ample time relaxing on the sun deck, whilst in the evening, they can retreat, post-dinner, to the ship’s lounges or the library to continue discussing the highlights from the day.
