Sandra Leonhard has been appointed as TUI AG Director Digital Strategy & Transformation with immediate effect.
In her newly created position, she will report directly to TUI CEO Dr Michael Frenzel. Against the background of the growing importance of online sales, Leonhard will lead a wide range of e-commerce activities for the three Sectors of the TUI Group (TUI Travel, TUI Hotels & Resorts and TUI Cruises) with her team.
The focus will also be on creating a joint infrastructure for online activities within the Group. Sandra Leonhard has worked in different online roles at TUI for more than ten years. Her responsibilities have included the development of the web platform for TUI’s Thomson Travel brand in the UK and the Cheqqer B2B platform for user-generated content. Leonhard previously worked in e-commerce roles at Land Rover, Mini and Renault UK.
